Add-ons

Our add-on products can we added into the loan financing at the time of purchase. Our products can also be purchased after loan closing however they will need to be paid in cash and limits may apply.

Major Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MMP) Coverage* : Also known as Extended Warranty, MMP is automobile protection that extends beyond the manufacturer's factory warranty and covers repairs of unexpected mechanical breakdowns. Pay for MMP once, and in most cases you will not have to pay anything more than a small deductible should a breakdown occur.

The purchase of MMP is optional. Whether or not you purchase MMP will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any existing credit agreement you have with our institution. There are eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions that could prevent you from receiving benefits under MMP.

Members should carefully read the contract for a full explanation of the terms.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Coverage* : Our collection department will file a claim on your behalf. Have the insurance company processing the claim send documentation to insuranceclaims@thefuturebelongstous.com. Once we have the information on your settlement, we can begin to process for a GAP claim if applicable. 

Paintless Dent Auto Protection PDF (985 KB)* : An effective way to remove unsightly door dings and small dents without the hassle or expense of major body work. Covers all exterior body panels.  

Tire & Wheel Vehicle Protection PDF (1 MB)* : Covers tires and wheels plus the cost associated with mounting and balancing. 

Vehicle Return Protection PDF (1.2 MB)* : A one-of-a-kind program that allows you to return your vehicle and walk away from negative equity up to $15,000 should any of the following life changing circumstances arrive:

Vehicle Insurance Information
Vehicles Insurance Binders – Insurance binders provide proof of sufficient insurance. A new binder must be provided when the policy or insurance provider changes.  Agents can email the binder to loans@thefuturebelongstous.com or fax it to (915) 633-1319.
  • The binder must:
    • Match the name on the loan
    • Show evolve FCU as the lien holder
    • Show a maximum deductible of $1000
Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) – CPI protects the vehicle against physical damage. It is added to a loan when the vehicle is not properly insured.
  • When CPI is added to a loan:
    • The minimum payment increases.
    • If the loan is paid automatically, we will not increase the deduction. This may cause the loan to become delinquent.
    • To remove CPI and have the charge refunded a member must provide proof of sufficient insurance. The binder can be emailed to collections@thefuturebelongstous.com or loans@thefuturebelongstous.com.
    • CPI refunds are processed every Friday.

Filing a claim for Credit Life and/or Credit Disability protections
Credit Life and Disability – This insurance pays the loan in case of a borrower’s death or disability. It is added to the loan at closing.
